WJNO | Workshop for Architecture and Interior Practice
WJNO is a design studio founded in Seoul in 2016. With an architectural mindset and a keen sensitivity to execution, we reinterpret the essence of space through thoughtful, context-driven design.
We reflect on the fundamental values of architecture, the city, culture, and place—believing that simplicity, when built with intention, can awaken the senses in everyday life. For us, a space should not simply be new; it must have a reason to exist where it stands.
Centered around architecture and interior design, our work also extends to furniture, branding, and spatial planning—pursuing not just ideas, but their full realization with precision and care.
Fundamental Design
We always begin from the fundamentals.
Rather than following fast-changing trends, we focus on the enduring essence of space and material. Clear structures and minimal expression create spaces that retain their value over time.
Sensuous Experience
We design with space to feel.
By eliminating unnecessary ornamentation, we highlight the material's physicality, the movement of light, and the atmosphere of space. In simplicity, the senses open—and users engage with space in quiet, intuitive ways.
Space Branding
Space is the most sensory language of a brand.
We seek to deeply understand our clients' identity and create moments where branding and spatial experience connect seamlessly. It is not simply about execution, but about co-creating meaning and depth through shared sensibility.

더블유제이앤오(WJNO)는 2016년 서울에서 시작된 건축 및 인테리어 실무 워크숍으로, 건축적 사고와 세심한 실무 감각을 바탕으로 공간의 본질을 새롭게 제안하는 디자인 스튜디오입니다.
우리는 건축, 도시, 문화, 장소가 지닌 본질적인 가치에 대해 고민하며, 단순함의 구축을 통해 일상 속에서 감각이 깨어나는 경험을 디자인합니다. 공간은 그저 새로워야 하는 것이 아니라, 그 자리에 있어야 할 이유가 있어야 한다고 믿습니다.
건축과 인테리어를 중심으로, 가구 디자인·브랜딩·공간 기획 등 다양한 환경을 유기적으로 연결하며, 아이디어에 그치지 않고 공간의 완성도까지 책임지는 설계를 추구합니다.

일상의 감각적 경험
우리는 감각을 위한 여백을 설계합니다.
재료의 물성과 빛의 흐름, 공간의 분위기에 집중하며 장식을 덜어냅니다. 단순한 형태 속에서 감각이 열리고, 사용자는 조용한 방식으로 공간과 관계를 맺게 됩니다.
브랜딩에서 공간으로
공간은 브랜드의 가장 감각적인 언어입니다.
우리는 클라이언트의 정체성을 깊이 있게 이해하고, 브랜딩과 공간이 자연스럽게 이어지는 장면을 만들어냅니다. 이 과정은 단순한 구현이 아니라, 함께 감각을 정리하고 깊이를 더하는 공동 창작의 경험입니다.
